入学前实地体验

入学前实地体验 (PAFE) 与 NSU 校园内的 EPSY 302 同时进行：

入学前实地体验的目的是自我意识、自我选择、专业选择、反思和目标设定。注册 EPSY 302 - 教育心理学的学生也将注册 ELED/SPED/SEED MUS 296 (PAFE)，并将收到完成 PAFE 的具体说明。学生必须观察和协助老师至少两个全天（16 小时）。学生只有在以“C”或更高的成绩完成本课程后，才会被批准进入教师教育计划。学生必须拥有至少 2.6 GPA 才能注册 EPSY 302 - 教育心理学。

当已经获得 EPSY 302 学分时，入学前实地体验 (PAFE)：

如果学生之前已经获得 EPSY 302 的学分，他们可以注册 ELED/SPED/SEED/MUS 296，前提是他们必须满足以下条件：

• 是 NSU 的一名攻读学位教育专业的学生。
• 累积 GPA 为 2.6。
• 以“C”或更高成绩完成 EPSY 302。
• 可以参加 NSU 校园内的面对面 PAFE 注册和安置会议。

注意：如果被加速 MSEd 电子学习教学设计课程录取，并完成至少 90 个本科课程学分，则可以用 ELRN 535 和 ELRN 585 代替 ELRN 435 和 ELRN 485。

预计 2014 年至 2024 年，高中教师的就业率将增长 6%，与所有职业的平均增长速度差不多。我们地区的学区报告称，合格的社会科学教师持续短缺。
