The Bachelor's degree in International Economics and Sustainability at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences comprises seven semesters. Students spend the fifth semester abroad. In the sixth semester, they complete an 18-week internship.
Basics in semesters 1 and 2
The courses in the first two semesters teach the basics of economics and business management.
Deepening of knowledge and Electives from 3rd semester onwards
From the third semester onwards, contents and topics are expanded, particularly in economic and quantitative areas. Elective courses, both at the Hochschule Osnabrück and at the foreign partner university, foster students to sharpen their profile. In their last semester, students apply their specialist knowledge to specific economic policy issues. They also work on an empirical project. At last, they complete their six-week final thesis.
