The master's programme in Chemical Engineering for Energy and Environment delivers extensive knowledge in the diverse field of Chemical Engineering with a focus on sustainability. Students acquire modern tools to analyse various processes, from the production of biofuels to the purification of drinking water. Graduates have the engineering skills needed to meet the societal challenge of how best to use our available energy and finite natural resources.

The joint master's programme in Environomical Pathways for Sustainable Energy Systems equips students with skills to minimise the environmental impact of current and future energy systems. Students gain a broad knowledge of energy systems and follow a specialisation in, for example, Energy Efficiency, Solar Systems or Offshore Energy. Students also acquire skills in innovation and commerce. Eight universities offer the programme through EIT InnoEnergy.

The joint master's programme in Nuclear Energy educates tomorrow’s nuclear engineers on how to address the key technical, social and environmental challenges faced by the industry. Going beyond the scope of traditional nuclear education, the programme helps tomorrow’s engineers understand nuclear power in the context of a diverse energy mix. The programme is offered by four European universities through EIT InnoEnergy.

The master’s programme in Nuclear Energy Engineering covers all aspects of nuclear engineering, including the physics and technology of nuclear reactors, nuclear power safety and radiation protection. Graduates design, operate, manage and develop nuclear facilities, usually as nuclear engineers, consultants, researchers and managers.
