历史演奏实践系成立于2019/2020学年，其前身是2008年成立的历史乐器系。自成立以来，该系主任一直由羽管键琴演奏家玛丽亚·巴纳什凯维奇-布里瓦（Maria Banaszkiewicz-Bryła）博士、理学博士、教授担任。
