The program in "Landscape Architecture - Land Landscape Heritage" integrates technical, natural and agronomical sciences, as well as historical, cultural and social studies. The program is based on design studios and lectures on current themes such as the design of soil and of public open spaces, of the urban and rural landscape, preservation of landscape heritage, regeneration of derelict areas, sustainable tourism and hydrogeological risk prevention.

This program aims at providing a multidisciplinary background for architects, with a special focus on environmental sustainability and landscape design. The concept of sustainability is associated with a high-quality transformation of the landscape, from the macro-scale of urban planning to the micro-scale of technical details, how the varied scales connect and interrelate with each other.

This Master of Science offers an advanced academic route in designing spatial arrangements and urban policies, to transform and manage the city, territory, and environment.

The program links the fundamental disciplines of Civil Engineering (design and construction of civil and environmental structures and infrastructures) with a broad overview of the most advanced Risk Management tools, with particular attention to forecasting and prevention issues concerning structures and infrastructures and soil, on which they are built or embedded, due to natural and anthropic causes.

This program aims at training highly skilled professionals, who are able to critically deal with Landscape and interior-spatial design, New Interiors and Ephemeral/Temporary spaces. Interior and spatial designers will be able to creatively work in projects with an innovative functional, aesthetic, technical and technological approach even for social innovation. The program is characterized by different didactical activities, ranging from mono-disciplinary courses to experimental workshops and design studio, where students are given the opportunity to experiment the tools used in design professions.

The two-year Master of Science in Civil Engineering provides students with a sound preparation on these structures and on infrastructures, allowing them to choose a curriculum (or ‘track’) among the five available: General, Geotechnics, Hydraulics, Infrastructures, and Structures.

The environment we live in nowadays is very complex and the architect is forced to work on the existing heritage paying particular attention to its sustainability and considering the environment together with the built heritage as a resource to protect. The new MSc program "Architectural Design and History" is offering a study plan based on this very attitude.

The SOS Program is designed to leverage the collective energy and individual experiences of the SOS students and team. In order to meet the needs of a wide range of students and professionals, the educational format has been re-organized according to a modular structure and at the same hand, it is in fact possible to enroll in the full-time master, lasting one year. The program is based upon a curriculum that combines Practice-Based Education with Research - Based Practice and Site - Based Experience.
