Adding courses in international studies, business, history, education, or one of our interdisciplinary minors gives you plenty of exciting career options. And there’s nothing like living in a German-speaking country to learning the language inside and out and boosting your confidence and cultural understanding. We can help you make that happen!

Fall in love with language all over again as a French major or minor at Susquehanna. Courses are taught in French, so you’ll become proficient and comfortable speaking and writing as you earn your degree. You’ll sharpen those skills through fun activities and clubs on campus and by studying abroad through our Global Opportunities program. Our professors will help get you career-ready through courses in French literature, contemporary France, cinema, and other current topics. You can also pair your love of language with another interest and pursue a double major.

Master the Spanish language and immerse yourself in the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. We’re one of the only universities that require semester-long study abroad for language majors. When you return to Susquehanna, you’ll bring back firsthand knowledge of the cultures you’ve experienced and a grasp of the Spanish language only achieved through immersion!
