护理副学士学位课程旨在培养学生在医生办公室、急症护理和康复机构、长期护理机构、门诊和社区中心、医疗中心和医院等机构担任初级护士。该课程的应用科学部分有两个主要组成部分：理论/教学/实验室部分和临床实习部分。该课程的通识教育部分包括解剖学和生理学、英语、数学、发展心理学、微生物学和营养学课程。该课程的这一部分重点是提高学生的学术和人际交往能力。
